This story is a symbolic analogy of modern life. Being frustrated at the state of the world and feeling powerless to change it. Coming to terms with one’s anger, finding a way through the madness without going insane, and channeling energy into positive outcomes - or not.

With its irreverent humour, schlocky ‘revenge fantasy’ gore, tense family relationships and heartfelt romance, this story should resonate our primary target audience of 15-50 year old fans of high concept horror-rom-coms.
The secondary target audience is mature females looking for empowered women in lead roles - dishing out the brutality for once rather than always on the receiving end.
Audiences will genuinely relate to the characters and the challenges they’re facing, but also laugh at the visually rich delivery and slapstick set pieces. Proposed Rating M.

- Lotsa Action + High Stakes

"LEAF BLOWERS represent everything that is WRONG with the human race!" Cate Blanchett

I HATE Leaf Blowers. They literally fry my nervous system and I can’t think! Ironically this film was written wearing headphones to block out the relentless brutality of leaf blowing that is going on everyday in my neighborhood.
Hatred for Leaf Bloweers has become somewhat of a Global phenomenon. The Guardian even wrote a piece about it. Cate Blanchett’s numerous rants about them have become a viral meme! Hugh Grant hates them, as does Ricky Gervais, Teri Hatcher and Danny Devito! Literally every single person I have pitched this idea to immediately expressed a loathing for LB’s. Most of the cast and crew are motivated by their hatred of LB’s. It’s very zeitgeisty rn.
